The Community Council of Kalavasos, within the efforts to improve the quality of life of the habitants, has executed some embellishment and infrastructure works.
Some of the most urgent and serious works, which have been done, are the following:

• Creation of a Museum in the center of the village plaza, in which you can find archaeological finds that were found during some excavations. These exhibits were given from the Archaeological Museum.
• Lighting of the community stadium.
• Construction of a tile floor in the village plaza.
• Paving of the roads in the traditional center of the village.
• Construction of buildings for the needs of the community council, a conference room and a medical practice.
• Naming and enumeration of the roads and houses in the community.

The Community Council continues the efforts to make the community a modern and pleasant place, and for this reason, it has already programmed the following projects:

• Replacement of the water supply and distribution system in the entire community.
• Construction of tile floors in several roads in the village.
• Grass turfing of the community stadium.
• Embellishment works in an area in the entry of the community and creation of green space.
• Alteration of the old Turkish school in a cultural center.
